On July first 431 salmon have been landed in Norðurá.
Salmon are running up the river fast and the lower parts are teaming blue with yearling fish. Anglers are pleased with the catch.
The river water is ample, it is at 7.5 square meters per second right now and has been between 8 and 12 square meters this summer. There have been a couple of rainy days every week from the beginning of the season so conditions for angling are very good.
