Pleasant news from Norðurá this summer.
Landed salmon reached the number of 890 at noon on July 12th. The group of anglers that had been fishing for three days and left that day had caught 147 salmon between them.
There is plentiful salmon in the river and apparent that the season will be good. We hope that 2000 salmon will be landed this summer or even more.
The river is still filled to the brim and was at 24 cubic meters on July 12th.
